The school has its own campus separate from the Main School but is close enough to use the Chapel and all sporting facilities. Soccer, cricket, athletics, gymnastics and swimming are the main sports and there are good facilities for tennis, fencing and squash. The Preparatory School has its own heated swimming pool.
There is a fully qualified staff of sixteen full-time and two part-time teachers and also visiting specialists in music. There is a full-time Matron.
The School aims to provide a thorough grounding in a wide range of basic studies and activities and to promote sound values and a proper sense of responsibility. The broad and varied curriculum is disciplined but not inhibited by examination requirements. There is a well established Choir and excellent facilities for all aspects of music. There are separate specialist rooms for computer study, science, audio visual resources and art, craft and design.
Drama and Music Productions are put on during the school year and games fixtures are held with both Maintained and Independent local schools. The philosophy of the school is to provide a congenial atmosphere conducive to sound study, good basic grounding and high attainment in accordance with the aims of the National Curriculum.
